Our Vision/Work
Sanctuary
We believe that healing in connection with land, culture, and community is essential to liberation and long-term change.
GRGF is devoted to creating a sanctuary where families can reconnect with the land, nourish their bodies, and engage in transformative collective healing. Rooted in a holistic approach, our work weaves together sustainable farming, earth-based educational workshops, family strengthening skill building, wellness tradition sharing, and immersive retreats to foster intergenerational healing, cultural restoration, and “back to the land” self sufficiency skill advancing.
Our new homebase is a 24-acre farm in Avon, Maine—a vision years in the making through a long-term collaboration with Land in Common. This space will serve as a hub for land-based healing, outdoor wilderness education, agricultural learning, and wellness-centered community gatherings.
Our long-term vision is to cultivate a thriving community where families strengthen their relationship with our children, alternative health, with each other, and with the earth. Through this work, we aim to inspire a movement rooted in cultural knowledge-keeping, community wellness, ecological balance, and conscious living.
We will implement this vision in carefully planned phases:
Fundraising & Resource Gathering
Collaborating to Build Infrastructure
Retreat Program Development
Pilot Program Launch
Assessment & Community Feedback Process to guide future adjustments and growth.
