Fill out to form to enter your family into a raffle to win a garden this growing season. Racial Equity and Justice Organization has a Food and Land Access Program we have been running for a few years. This year our goal is to build a raised bed garden for a family in Wabanaki Territory in Androscoggin and/or Cumberland County. We will provide the building, bed material, spoil, and seedlings. All you need to do is enter your family into this raffle and water, tend, and harvest your plants! This program was made possible due to grant funding and support from Maine Community Foundation. Advocacy

Although many of the services we offer include supporting and educating communities and organizations, it is not uncommon for individuals to need additional support or interventions. As consultants and advocates, we routinely meet with schools, businesses, individual community members and municipalities to discuss instances of discrimination and bias. In each of these instances, we are proud to have completed the proceedings with favorable outcomes for individuals we’ve advocated for where individuals accepted resources we provided. Our most important advocacy work is on behalf of entire exploited, marginalized, and disenfranchised communities in regards to reallocating resources for individual and community support. The anti-racism work we do happens on both a systemic and personal level.

Please contact us to report discrimination.

We understand the need for holistic healing & community building. We all need each other for support, growth, learning, reclaiming cultural traditions, protecting earth, and recieving access to resources. We organize cultural activities and programming that help create space for cultural healing and empowerment. Additionally, we offer support for those who have experienced racial violence including intersectional issues such as gender based violence, incarceration, generational trauma, and more.
